June Reflections: Anniversaries, Celebrations and Milestones

Dear Friends,

This month, we recognize the anniversaries, celebrations, and milestones representing our country’s collective fight against injustice and towards equity. Today marks over four decades since the unjust death of Vincent Chin whose life was taken away at the hands of two white men who never served a day in jail, igniting the modern Asian American civil rights movement and a multiracial movement. The legacy of Vincent Chin continues to be an example of multiracial solidarity and how people of all backgrounds can join together to stand against violence and hate and build a safe and welcoming community.
