Civic Engagement Task Force

Civic and Engagement Task Force

The Civic Engagement Task Force is a dedicated group of member organizations who build power and capacity in our communities, and across communities of color, through civic engagement and coalition building. The Civic Engagement Task Force organizes alongside community members, leaders and coalition partners, including The People’s Bloc, Our Unite Reform (OUR) LA, and LA Forward. With their collective knowledge of the Los Angeles County government and policy systems, they are able to uplift community voices and advocate for policies that serve the AAPI community’s unique needs. The Civic Engagement TaskForce focus will be on the election and city council reform for the coming year.

AAPI Equity Alliance (formerly, A3PCON) is a coalition of community-based organizations that advocates for the rights and needs of the Asian and Pacific Islander American community.
