Thank you for your generous donation!

Your contribution uplifts the alliance of over 40+ community-based organizations serving the diverse AAPI communities of Los Angeles county and beyond.

In recent years, AAPI Equity Alliance has expanded to further support our member organizations’ crucial work on the grounds. Here are some ways we have made an impact together- thanks to supporters like you.

We collaborated with nearly two dozen AAPI community-based organizations to deploy nearly 100 Community Health Workers in Los Angeles County, reaching over 270,000 AAPIs with COVID-19 and vaccination resources.

As a co-founder of Stop AAPI Hate, we have led the national conversation on anti-Asian hate through the collection of over 11,000 reports of incidents over the past three years. Moreover, we have prioritized dismantling structural and institutional racism through civil rights policy change, education equity reforms, and advances in community safety and well-being.

From the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 to the Monterey Park mass shooting in 2023, the AAPI Equity Alliance immediately jumped into action to support the affected communities. Most recently, we established a victims fund with Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Southern California and developed an emergency resource guide for the Monterey Park community.

In-language voter guides are produced for the diverse communities of Los Angeles. In 2022, we released a comprehensive voter guide in 14 AAPI languages! The AAPI Equity staff also work to empower the coalition from within through a LA County Teach-in Series. We also co-led a cross-racial consortium to engage in the redistricting process locally and statewide.

Once again, thank you for your continued support for the AAPI Equity Alliance and its communities.

Yours,
