Jennifer Chou is the Managing Director of Policy at AAPI Equity Alliance and co-leads policy at Stop AAPI Hate. A native Angeleno, she brings over a decade of leadership in intersectional movement-based advocacy and collaboration in California and nationally. Before joining AAPI Equity, Jennifer was a senior staff attorney at the ACLU of Northern California’s Gender, Sexuality, and Reproductive Justice program, where she led statewide work to advance comprehensive sex education and protect the rights of LGBTQ+ students. She currently serves on the board of Women’s Foundation California, and was previously an If/When/How federal policy fellow at the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum.
Jennifer holds a JD from the UCLA School of Law’s David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy and a BA in Political Science, Women’s Studies, and Asian American Studies from Wellesley College.
