May 1st is 4 days away. Here’s what we’re asking you to do: Take the day off if you can. Keep your kids home. Don’t shop. Then come out into the streets with us. We know that’s not a small ask. But this moment is not small.
Right now, billionaires, bigots, and bullies are coming for us. They’re defunding our healthcare. Threatening our families. Trying to take away our votes. They think if they squeeze us hard enough, we’ll break. They’re counting on us to stay separate. Stay silent. Stay home.
They don’t know LA. On May 1st, Angelenos are coming together from every neighborhood and every background to say: you can’t divide us, and you can’t break us.
