Voting is our first line of defense

Dear Friends,

Today is Election Day. Our vote decides the rules that set our rent, how much we pay at the pump, and what’s in our paycheck. Let’s get out and VOTE!

All vote centers across Los Angeles County are open today, November 3rd, from 7AM to 8PM. You can vote in-person or drop off your mail-in ballot at the ballot box or vote center.

Each one of our votes makes a difference. That’s why the Trump Administration is scrambling to disrupt California’s election process ahead of the midterms — they know our votes are a threat to their agenda. But, LA is not backing down.

Voting is our first line of defense and it’s going to take all of us. We need to show up for our family, neighbors, and community to stand united against election interference.

Here are ways to prepare, not panic:

If you see something, say something 💬
Hate and harassment have no place at poll centers. If you witness an incident, take action.
  • Identify a poll monitor and direct them to the incident.
  • Report the incident to APIAVote’s multilingual voter hotline: 1-888-API-VOTE (1-888-274-8683) Bilingual assistance is available in: Bengali, Cantonese, English, Hindi, Korean, Mandarin, Punjabi, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Urdu.
    • If you spot ICE, call the LA Raids and Rapid Response Network: (888) 624-4752
  • To safely intervene and de-escalate incidents, learn more here.
